Jussi Hurskainen is a CEO and Co-Founder of Valamis. He has led and grown Valamis from an innovative start-up to an international global company with offices in seven countries and a presence with customers on three continents. Jussi firmly believes that in the current era of digital transformation and economic challenges, the only way to overcome these challenges is to align your business development with your employees and provide the proper support to help them reach their full potential.

Jari has 20 years of work experience in the field of digital learning, and he has a deep understanding of both the challenges and advantages it brings. Due to his background as a Master of Education (M.Ed.), he has seen many sides of corporate learning—from training and helping teachers to understanding how digitalization can be utilized as part of learning processes, and even renewing large private and public sector organizations’ learning strategies and solutions. Jari is a co-founder of Valamis LXP (Learning Experience Platform) and has been closely involved in its product development since, which he is currently leading.

Maria Vihtkari is an internationally experienced HR professional with a specialty in labour law and maintaining and developing organisational culture during mergers and acquisitions. Maria has over 13 years of experience in Human Resources in the private sector. She holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Education and another one in Economics, a combination that gives her a deep understanding of the significance of a strong corporate culture and employee well-being for a successful business.

Esa Turunen is the Chief Revenue Officer at Valamis. He has over 10 years of experience in international business and operations management. In addition to revenue, Esa leads Valamis’s operations and has been heavily involved in developing processes and strategies to ensure our customers receive a smooth and agile digital learning solution implementation and efficient support services. Esa is a proactive and hands-on leader who values teamwork and customer orientation as the core of his approach.

Samu Kuosmanen is the Sales Director at Valamis, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in ICT leadership, data analytics, and digital transformation. He has a strong background in leveraging advanced analytics for data-driven decision-making, optimizing business processes, and achieving impactful results. Before Valamis, Samu held key roles in public sector IT management and global consulting firms like KPMG and Accenture, specializing in enterprise performance and analytics solutions. At Valamis, he focuses on building trusted relationships, delivering tailored learning solutions, and driving successful outcomes for clients in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, empowering them through strategic insights and effective digital tools.
